Rescue
Discarded. Forgotten. Bound for landfill. Every object is saved before it's lost forever.
PLANET EARTH
Giving dicarded materials a second life
HOLYBATPANTS hunts for raw materials in skips, street corners and Walthanstow's Reuse and Recycling Centre. Every discarded road sign, piece of wood, or industrial scrap gets a second chance at life before it is lost forever. Outdoor wear and tear become part of the visual story—not something to hide.
When HBP paints on paper, he never compromises on the planet. All physical pieces are produced exclusively on FSC-approved (Forest Stewardship Council) paper. This ensures every sheet comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.
Every single artwork is painted by hand in East London. No mass production. No shortcut factory prints. Because every piece is made slowly and carefully, no two artworks are ever identical.
Whenever possible, your artwork is hand-delivered across London on foot or by bicycle. This drastically cuts down on commercial shipping packaging, plastic waste, and carbon emissions.
Discarded. Forgotten. Bound for landfill. Every object is saved before it's lost forever.
Cleaned, repaired and prepped. Years of wear become part of the story, not something to hide.
Hand-painted, re-purposed materials become one-of-a-kind original art.
A rescued piece begins its next chapter—ready to hang and be treasured for a lifetime.
HOLYBATPANTS will always prioritise grit and craftsmanship over mass production. Every piece is built to last with the intention that it becomes a household treasure, proving that urban art can disrupt the streets without destroying the planet.
